Quick question, is it possible to change the conrod bolts in situ? and if so is it easy or a right bitch like everything else!

I havnt done them on the pulsar  but generally it can be done with the engine in situ  as i did my rs turbo in situ .

Not sure what's fitted as I didn't build bottom end and don't really trust the fella I bought it off, just for piece of mind really as car hopefully should be putting some decent power out once its mapped. and not sure if standard bolts if that's what's fitted will be man enough

you can fit arp bolts with engine in situ but its certainly not an easy job as ive done it before.

youll need to undo one nut at a time from the bearing caps then get a punch and give it a couple sharp raps until it breaks out of the splines, then fit the arp bolt nd draw it down and torque it up, after you have toqued it up loosen it again and repeat the process to make sure the bolt is fully drawn down on to the splines or youll have very big troubles lol.
