hi all, spoke to bob yeterday on the phone and pointed me to this forum, i am also on the gtiroc however having a look through this site seems alot more supportive and informative than gtir oc.

have been a member for a while however have just started using, i have just purchased my 3rd pulsar and was wondering if anyone can shed any light on it,
The Reg is J196 EWR
it is ivory white, and has changed hands a few times in the last few years, it has alot of paperwork for various works and forged build etc, however the more i time i spend on it the more i find things wrong where corners have been cut, i picked it up very cheap and the shell is good, has ksport 8pot calipers and big discs, bc coilovers, very clean shell and new exhaust system (not to loud which is good) which is good starting point for where i want it to be.
I owned my 1st R back in 2009/2010, k763xtt, i used this mainly at santa pod where i ran constant 12.1s (rwyb 2010 leaderboard 22nd) and the budget wasnt there for the repairs etc as i was only 20 at the time
my 2nd R was 2 years ago a very clean car from scotland way i believe reg J901 XSS (i think) done a deal with my crx track car, drove down the road and bottom end went, lost patience and sold to a chap in

Look forward to getting to know you all

Thanks Glenn

Not so good but I wasn't alone, it made 10hp more but lost 24lbft. We have our doubts with the rollers though.

welcome to the forum glenn Cool
getting bigger all the time and by far the most actiive

I know that car from ebay recently
something didn't quite add up with it (as I was after it myself) but to be fair what you paid for it was a fair enough price
and not ott considering some of the mods she has so hopefully theres not too much to sort out for you

Thanks everyone Smile
I agree the car some things didnt add up, like i said previously before the car wasnt idling correct, sounded like was running on 2 when drove home (10miles or so) but i now have her running spot on, absolutely perfect (for a pulsar haha) so now i can start putting bits on that should be and create bob a list of parts Smile
I dont think there is a car that gives you the same feel as a pulsar, scoobys evos (early ones) and similar just arnt the same, not alot of people know what pulsars are so when they see them go they appreciate alot more Smile
Thanks again guys Smile

Hi Glenn. Nice to see one down the road from me. Maybe we can finally start a meet around this area - although mine is hiding in a garage following a 'rolling of my mx5' and some shoulder damage :-( needs to be taxed and taken out some time soon so maybe a good excuse is to come and see yours!!
