on the GTIROC, someone put an advert of a good spec car (black with orange super tourismo), at 4200 pounds...seems to worth it!

I think now with these cars that to achieve a decent bit of money for them, the buyer has to be someone who has driven one of these and knows what their all about. My car has been in my pals garage this week getting a few bits n bobs done for an mot and they amount of people that come in and make you offers is unreal. Only problem is that the offers are laughable at times. Half the people think that because you can pick up some piece of shit scooby for £1500 that they're going to persuade you to sell a pulsar with a forged engine etc for the same money haha.

Blimey!! I bought mine and it was completely standard with full service history from someone we knew, they had owned it for 10 years, it was standard for 15 hours after buying it, a full de-cat exhaust was put on it:)

Haha nothing wrong with a good scooby. The kind of scoobys you seen round my way are all noise and no go, full of decals and mudflaps that stick out past the wheels.

dont think that would have made any difference think the lead was bonded on a molecular level rather than just dissolved in petrol

About 5 years ago I was at the NEC auto sport show and there was a whole family mum dad and two sons walking round, parents in matching bright blue Subaru jackets and hats the youngest in a full Subaru race suit and the other kid with and officail scooby fleece looked pretty cool as a family and then when we left they were parked right next to my car

that's what I was going to say. I think some people have the clothing as part of the whole rally scene. I would probably prefer some of the jackets over the car lol

Just spotted this for £1k

http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/pulsar-gtir/1024995166

I think I have seen this car advertised a few times recently at a few different prices and varying descriptions of condition but I'm not sure if it's the same car.
Sounds like the bottom end is f@!k'd though.
