my yellow R aka bumble bee

thought id get some pic of my r had the car for about 2years just been building it since then. bought it as a rolling shell and me and my mates built the car from there bit by bit 

spec 

bought a bottom of a mate who said it had been forged

bought a freshly built head with new steam seals,skimmed,ported and polisht with new valves
new samco heater hoses in yellow 
2mm cosworth headgaskit 
injectors with new seals
cam cover seal 
new o ring ,water pump, dizzy cap, rota arm,ht leads ,spark plugs,etc
short shiter
fto front brakes rebuilt and done in candy violet
17" 1.2 team dynamic wheels 
pace front mount intercooler
gt28 hybird turbo(like new)
sprayed cam cover yellow with stars (engine was all cleaned and painted to give it that fresh look)
hks yellow air filter
hks ssqv bov (looking for a greedy typr r bov)

inside 

all the dash and all the plastic are wrapt in carbon fiber led bulbs fitted in dash and in center gauges
half leather seats back and front 

things tht need to be fitted are 
boost ,oil,oil temp gauges 
new rear lights with led bulbs
new 17" oz wheels 

must have misst alot out but theres been alots of ups and downs while building the r just wanted to thank rob tilley who bulit the engine and put up with me

Looks well in that colour, looks like a good paint job

the paints ok in the pic but im really fusses wen it cums to cars jst want everything perfect thats why its geting spray up in liquid yellow pearl

Same here that's 1 reason mine is being painted at the min as paint was flaking around windows :/

one side of my car is all dull and one side is all shine so i thought might aswell spend tht bit mre on a full respray

did you recently buy that car off someone up north?

I do think the carbon wrap between the windows is a banging idea mine are marked and faded may have to copy that one haha.

Thanks I got board so I started messin about and ened up doin the insides n out side in carbon gti-r no I bought it off my mate who had a red r with front exhaust on it he had the car for a few years and bought the red one n left the yellow one to rot so I snapt the rolling shell of him
