deffo needs some nice wheels on it or the 'youve been tango'd wheels either painted or something,

got it on the ramp today, really impressed with it, no rust anywhere even has clean original brake pipes through out! i want to underseal it but not sure what with, dont want just black crap which looks like i could be hiding something, want factory look

it was cheap! had quite a few bad points, but most of them just required a bit of time and patience rather than money, its already 10 times better than when i first bought it just through some hard work and only a little bit of money, alot more to do though!

I'm sure you'll soon sort it bud, I can't wait to get one not that many about for sale though

gave it an oil change, used a hks oil filter, many say a waste of money but they claim more flow, longer lasting and higher oil pressure, so i was willing to pay the minimal £12 extra over a standard one.



also fitted a magnetic sump plug as they do work and pick up any tiny tiny bits of metal.

also drained the oil cooler which was well worth it, loads of oil came out.

Glad to see somebodys working hard havnt touched either of mine for a couple of days weather has been crap down my way

todays progress, in the rain lol, beens sorting the interior, when i got it it was stripped with harness's with bits of trim missing/not fitted etc, gave it a clean and vacuum once all done too

its the cleanest (original) pulsar rust wise iv ever seen, its got the usual very slight bubbles on rear arches but they are solid and never been repaired, sills and underside and turrets are all still shiney grey, and even has original rust free brake pipes through out.

been doing more to the interior today, been cleaning and working on the door cards and dash today, no before pics though (check out my horn lol, have to touch the wire to the metal to work it)

im trying to decide if to keep the wheels and have them done in silver as they should be or to change them, thing is they are 15" light weight alloys, and i dont want to change them to heavier/bigger wheels if they will effect performance at all.

also trying to decide if to tint the rear windows or not! thinking about it daily, i have only got the boot tinted, its decision between removing it or tinting the rear sides... or leave it as it is! i do find the rear tinted window quite useful and i like the look of it, but also like the fact the rear sides are clear so inside the car is nice and light

They are abit lairy colour wise look nice in white or anthacite maybe .... i find a full tint really dark at night its liveable but a pig when reversing . Has your dash been flocked it looks it ?

Black or silver on those rims, Black looks nice on grey pulsars & never look as dirty which is a bonus.
If current tyres are good & no intention on needing larger front brakes may as well try a colour or 2 on this set & see how it works out.
Only really turned into rot boxes due to poor storage & some piss poor owner maintenance.
Nice to see a clean one being looked after & put right, don't let bobby near it or it will end in bits in a sales thread lol, would be inclined to to get a "P" badge from the Essex Little Italian Bobbi though as those GTR badges just ain't right :-S
