Thought i'd post some pic of my Gtir,have had it quite while it seems,think i bought this one in 2005.
Off another gtiroc member called GINGA,have had one previous to this one which i bought in 2002/03? but it met its maker in 2004? i think.my memory has slipped somewhat as the years go by,old age i guess...

Believe or not not lot has changed, got few mods on it.but still waiting to finish it. hoping to change to better engine management system soon.

Is the one you've got now the same that was at the Rolling road day 2004?
Or was that the one that died?



P.s just re read your thread, looks like it's the one that died from the rolling road day, and the one you have now is the latest one.

A copy of that to read would be good andy looks a good turn out

Had  the gtir on rollers recently, just to get an idea of what power its currently putting out.

Good stuff and not only power I love the fact when you know it’s fueling right and when you get the car on you can see where power starts to drop off Etc

Well have made some improvements mostly power related
Bigger injectors,new ecu,increased boost to 1.4bar







Still on stock gearbox soo not sure how far i can push it.will be going to increase boost gradually to see far i can push the standard exhaust manifold and this current turbo,hopefully without breaking something

yeah looking forward to fitting these to see what difference they make..

as you can see its a bit laagy doesn't make full boost till 5200 rpm.. but it is an old turbo was HKS 2835 and i had it rebuilt by turbo technics.
Going to hopefully change it to a either garret 660 or gt3071r
