Forge Actuator

Anyone shed some light on this? Forge sell two different actuators for the Pulsar, one with a bent rod and one with a straight rod. I called up Forge and they were about as helpful as a piece of dog p##. Apparently the one you want is to do with a particular oil pipe which some cars had, and some didn't.
The obvious thing to do would be to have a look on my car, but surely there is a way to tell!!??

Straights rod is needed, if you buy new you really need the spring uprated if you want to run some decent boost, if I remember right it's the blue one you need
