It also turns out that i have a complete fog lamp set up, it was all in a carrier bag that i thought was just full of wires lol, but its in bits and the brackets are bent out of shape so they'll need sorting out.

That's good, and looks a fairly easy fix.
Really like the look of the car with one of those on the front.

Havent seen any sell in recent years.
I was in a deal with someone selling one in Greece about 2 months ago but he couldn't sort shipping out and kept changing his mind on the price..

Sometimes you have to pay over the odds ( or so it seems) but never go down in value in my eyes it's a investment. Can not remember but I got mine between £200-350 tops

Loads of those got binned and sold or swapped for very little back during mass import years, same as front bumper protector, no one wanted them or really valued extras like knee rests etc.
It just become the craze and a rarity liked when more standard cars and accessory collection kicked off.
They do look nice though, easy enough for creative types modify a spare grill to a similar concept.
to manufacture the plastics only would be super cheap, I done work via contract to plastic moldings factory here in bangkok that does contracts for honda and toyota parts, they could produce base plastic parts easily but doubt be interested unless an inside contact favour type job. If deal with them again or other likely moulders I will have a word, I got plastics of pod and that all need really as find lights to fit, cut and mod an under light trim to work (can buy them pattern part for n14) and wiring simple enough sort.

So after five months of trying to find a spare gearbox i gound two on ebay so i bought them both. Stripped one to find out how it all works/goes together only to find when i pulled mine apart knowing what to look for i found that it had been apart in the past and the reverse/5th selector rod was in the wrong way allowing the other rods to move hence why it was sticking in reverse and sometimes getting stuck in two gears.

Hopefully have it on the road next week now Very Happy
