Thinking ahead about doing my clutch and was wondering what to get?! Running around 300bhp?
Also probably going to take engine out, so what would you recommend to do while the engine is out?
Cheers in advance

Helix organic clutches are good! I had one in mine, no slip, and easy on the clutch pedal

I don't rate them like I used to no slipping fair enough but they don't last long at 300 bhp or mine did not looks very worn for the time it's been in. Plus very expensive. Trying cc this time mr b and few others had good reviews so

Check wiring. Renew hoses etc. You done the ones on rear of block ? Small clips or cable ties on vac lines at rear of plenum. Mounts condition ?

I think you really have to look at where you want to be at .... 330bhp will it stop there and be happy with that in the future .... like johnny wisely said other jobs are really important like hoses etc as you dont want to have to rip the lump back out for something silly .... modified clutch fork is a must for heavier clutches .... and pedal support bracket with the extra strain of heavier clutch ....

I'd check all your rubber mounts to see if they have perished, check turbo for excessive play, and I'd check over the engine/gearbox for any leaks...much easier repairing bits and bobs whilst the whole lot is out Smile

stage 3 CC, be sure skim or fit new flywheel & a new oem release bearing (blueprint do them cheap enough)
If engine out do clutch master cylinder (not expensive) as if not been done already it going be a soon needed job and way harder with engine in .

Any brake lines that need renewed all the way back to the abs is worth thinking about
