May book on this closer to the time, I'll get my gearbox fixed again first for a change though! It's only 1 hour and 40 mins from mine, not bad distance and another good thing is that I've never been to Mallory park before!

if it doesn't cost anything to reserve a room, can you reserve me a twin please, maybe even 2 twins?? I'll ask my Dad and a couple of mates too, just don't want to commit 100% yet as I'm waiting for bits to come from all over for mine, both Japan and Australia! Cheers.

LOL Ben! No no no no noooo, it didn't go pop, it just had a little word between the gears and the gear selectors, minute problem for an old pile of poo!! haha! I still drove it home, I just didn't use 3rd or 4th!

Cheers pal, thats a nice late cancelation date, we'd be booked on the track day before then so will no for definite! Very Happy

yeah that's the one, ive just emailed them to see if they do a discount for group booking and a free garage otherwise its £159 for all day also on the evening of the 11th £145 for Donnington park

Dont tell her then, say you have been kidnapped by a bunch of southerners who have taken you hostage, forcing you to take your car round a scary race track What a Face


Some of us will be doing both and your more than welcome to come out as a passenger in what ever car i take, may even let you drive it if your worried about taking yours on track. If you are however give me a bell as there are some simple things you can do prior to venturing on track which will help with keeping the car alive, especially if its a hot day

Actually just gave you a rep point (wrong thread) not for stuff on here but for helping Pete 'the gearbox slayer' out with his gearbox which i thought was very good of you Wink

I've not done a track day before so i was just going to take it easy, keep out of trouble  and see how the car responds. Its also my daily driver and i need it for work so i wont be going all out.
It is only the one day i can make but ill give you a tinkle nearer the time for advice on setting up the engine.

that's ok ive only done about 4, but have bought a pug to thrash about instead of the pulsar.

anyway back to business, once I have definite numbers I can get us a whopping £9 off each car for Mallory. their answer was they believe their prices are competitive enough to give a group discount and they cant supply a garage, cant say ive been but their set up sounds different to the likes of brands etc.
if you want to get payment to me by the 25th july i'll make one big bank transfer as long as there are 5 of us of course.
will be asking Donnington same question.

trackdays offer 'no group discounts or freebies' as they put it, for Donnington so book at your own free will however if you want me to that's no problem with I can do both tracks together then. i'll be booking both tracks up next weekend so if you can transfer any monies to me that would be great, I will have to Mallory park as 1 payment to get the small discount. if doing both tracks please send £300, if just Mallory £150. if you need my bank details please PM me.
