No boost

Hehe another issue im trying to pinpoint is the car has no boost anymore, when the turbo kicks in all i get is a lack of power and a loud sucking sound, i thought it might have been the dump valve but removed that and blocked it off but still the same issue, anyone got any ideas on where to check?

Are you sure your wastgate isn't open? Check you actuator, are you running a standard set up ext?

Is it smoking or anything .... intercooler pipes all good ????

Ill check my intercooler pipes, no smoke just a slight misfire when boost does come in, i let off when that happens

I'd check all your boost pipes and clamps bud

Did it happen suddenly? Did something happen before it happened. Were you on boost and then all of a sudden no boost..?
Have you worked on anything lately?

Im running an avcr set at 1bar so not standard

Ive not worked on anything in that area, only trackrod end, yeah it just sort of suddenly happened...after it was re-motd

You wasn't on boost when it happened?

Would AVCR solinoid cause this ?

Well it only happens on boost, drive fine when not on boost, so only way i can test to see if it still happens is to come onto boost slightly

You also got this elec power issue so if wiring bad somewhere it could be causing low voltage to fuel pump & avc perhaps !

I done a sensor check on the avcr and the sensors read bost = 1.2v (i dont know what that means).

Im going to put it into an electrician next weekend, only wiring i changed was the fuse on the headlight loom, cut it back and replaced one of the fuse holders which was melted.
