About a week or so before we go. I'll check when the hotel replies. They normally say when i can cancel any rooms by. That then just leaves the euro tunnel. That's not refundable so if you leave that late you'll run the risk of it being a bit pricey or booked up. But then you could still try the ferry. So if your thinking about it you'll be best to put your name down at least for the hotel

rooms are reserved, haven't done an extras as yet.

What's the plan for now with booking the trains up

(No single rooms available) is that because we've booked them ? Or do I now need a double for €356

If the later then I need a double :-)

Mark- I can start booking up now if you want, it's no problem, was just getting first trip out the way, but I can start booking if you want.

Papajohns - ill check back on my emails from hotel, I believe single rooms were already gone, not for us, I believe they don't have many actual single rooms, but they do a different price for single occupant double rooms. No problem if need to change, will it be a double or a twin? Again I can double check the single room situation.

Eurotunnel is currently £118 per car and Tim van and trailer £287. cant get a price for hull to Rotterdam at the mo, website keeps chucking me off

on last trip everyone suggested I should ask for £10 each for arranging everything. I don't mind arranging everything for everyone and to be honest am a bit embarrassed writing this so if you want to add on another £10 whether it be per person or per car i'll leave it up to you all. don't worry wont be offended as long as everyone has a good laugh

Don't be embarrassed mate that's fine with me. I wouldn't have the time to arrange it and am certainly glad that you can do it for us all.

But when you say you will arrange everything, I need chocolate on my pillows every night, yellow tulips in the room and a bowl of red m&m's and a G&T on arrival (bargain for a tenna!).

Don't book the tunnel for us though we will arrange it ourselves.

Well I'm ready to start taking train money whoever is ready to transfer. Are the Geordie boys going through euro tunnel or you getting a ferry? We normally go for 11.20 train. If 15 cars or more I can get a discount, but might be an idea to start sorting train out now

I am going through tunnel and probably stopping down that way night before and night we get back. I know I was ill last time but it's still 370 mile for me and that's a lot in the little Nissan. Plus hours of tracking last time took the fun out of it as was done in when we got there. I seen a lot last time so if weather is like it was like time 1 of the days is getting spent at the bar and lazing in the sun

Makes sense Johnny, is a bloody long journey for you boys. I'll private message everyone tonight and get trains booked

Tunnel rote here aswell, the ferry worked out about £550 return, but like said the road trip is part of the fun.
So is that the 11:20am train on the Monday 19th?
