Nurburgring Trip September 2016

Ready to rock and on the move, first stop Hull to drop the Bairn off at grandmas. Heading down early afternoon tomorrow. Only thing I never got time to do was wash n wax the car .

If everyone is meeting at j11 if iv time I'll back track otherwise we'll just see you at the tunnel. We need Johnny so we can book in

1 gtir left to map another is at this minute having a forged engine fitted which i need to map tomorrow

My car still needs shed loads done
Have now done 3 all nighters this week and will be another tonight, need matchsticks to keep my eyes open lol, hopefully il get a couple hours sleep before we head off Monday

I'll swing by tomorrow with some supplies once I've finished with the car and help out where I can

He was not trying for a lap record when I was trying to goad him on that straight road to petrol station. Dave took a picture and I said bet he thinks I am a right prick imagine I slam into the back of it

Boys such a good trip and after getting so close last year and breaking down at the entrance to the track i was gutted, but this year the car was flawless completing both gp and nordschleife.  Ive uploaded loads of pics onto facebook/instagram and few videos onto youtube.

Hes one video and should have a second one uploaded tonight.  These videos aee shot in 360 degree so you can watch either driver or through windows by turning phone or scrolling with your finger. (If poor quality you might need to manually adjust quality.

1722.5 mile for me in my mk2 Leon that's 246.44litres of power @ just over £305, MFD read summit like 40hrs driving and an overall average of 28mpg

modern or not,still drinks a shit load of fuel maxed out on the autobahn, wife says to me how do you know when the autobahn ends ........when we get to euro tunnel dear!

Brill trip guys and thoroughly enjoyed it as always, the trip seems to get bigger every year so big thanks to Danny for sorting it all out for us as the more that go the harder it is to organise

My Gtr was faultless with repair i did on gearbox, infact its never worked so well since ive owned the car so well chuffed with that.

Virtually every gtir that went i had either mapped or worked on prior so was always a worry that all were going to return under their own steam especially after all being on circuit........but thankfully all cars made it there and back ok with no real issues so that was a weight lifted from my shoulders lol

Had some good racing with my arch rival and makes things interesting in the Gtr as not a lot other than another Gtr can stay with it the thi gs are so damned fast lol.
Hope you enjoyed the passenger ride Karl, certainly was a picture seeing your face when we got back to the pits.
Think that passenger ride you had was probably the quickest ive ever driven that circuit so for a "nervous" passenger i think you did rather well, just wished the vid footage had come out as were some good moments especially when the gt2 porker would not move out of our way  but soon made him move lol

Was great meeting up with you all again and roll on next years trips.

Last of all would like to publicly thank Mark Bucky and Bill for helping me out on the last night before we went.
I was shattered and had no more to give after being awake for 3 consecutive days & nights and still lots needed doing on my own car so really really appreciated the help you gave guys Thank you
