Hello I purchase a gtir with possible head gasket problem if took the head of and there is a crack between cylinder 2 and 3 could that be repaired or will I have to buy another if so we're can I get one in the UK ill upload some photos

The way I look at it  is would you ever trust it if you can get it repaired ? It will be weakened so my mind would always be worried will it crack again? Entirely up to you bud Smile but a cracked head sounds like bad need to me ! Do you know what's caused the damage? Will need rectifying before you even consider whacking a new one on otherwise same thing could happen !

What makes you say its cracked between cylinder 2 and 3 ??? Would it not be more likely a cracked ringland or something ????

Lmao i did get your text yoursofunny
he said possible head gasket and when he takes the head off if it has cracked between cylinders ...2 and 3 ..... ive never heard of it cracking between the cylinders most bottom ends is ringland failure or such like .... have you done a comp test scott ??? What was the results ?? Leakdown test ???

Think need some photos & clarification on what actually wrong on this one !
If block/liners damaged then best getting another block or complete engine probably. Will need be careful as most stuff for sale can be close to scrap so look at it well or don't overpay for it.
