Grrr bloody car is back on the drive again, nothing with this car is ever straight forward. Luckily I have a backup plan so should be in another accommodation shortly, so just a set back!

The guy who was sub-letting me the space realised he didn't have enough space afterall as his workload has gone through the roof. Got my rent money back so not too much of an issue as its a mate of my brothers. Looking at putting her in a big barn now.

Been a while since I last updated this due to several reasons but anyway, she is now resting in her new place and I have finally got this ball rolling, so to speak.

Got bumpers, side skirts, lights and exhaust off so far. I think ive come off light with regards to rust as the sills are almost spotless. However the rear bumper was hiding the bad rust.

Im sure this is a common sight for many owners...

Mine had gone in exactly the same place mate. The panels from carz for the rear 1/4 have these so I've bought both side ready for when I replace them.

It started out life as a 72 beetle, it is in the stages of becoming a rat rod pickup. Its had the roof chopped and lowered, got an extended front beam and i think its gonna have a disc conversion for the front.
