HomeWhat size wire you using? 0.6mm is better for thin metal, thats what I used. 0.8mm for thicker stuff, 1.0mm for 5mm thicker but need a good welder.

That'll be part of the problem then mate, nothing wrong with using 0.8 wire but 0.6 is better for thin metal.

Got a little more done and looking better mate. I'm going to switch to gas and .6 wire for some other stuff I wanna do though.

Same principle on thin stuff but prob half the time, get a scrap piece of metal and practice..
Circle motion on thick stuff, moving the puddle along.

That makes sense, nice video btw. I wouldn't say my tacks are super long but I could certainly reduce that time.
