Depends whether or not you want the same set of problems as the R

And you will lose ant street cred you might have had..  Embarassed

Bob, whoever gets theirs done first, yours will definitely be a LOT faster than mine. Laughing

In fairness, 8 years of R ownership hasn't been too bad. Don't suspect ringland failure in a rasheen, it doesn't produce enough power to do any damage  Laughing

This I prefer the look of mine tho.  lol!
It's a 1999 model 2.0L SR20DE with 100,000 k on the clock.
Automatic (I think all the 2L ones are) and a sun roof.
Cost £650 to buy
 drink ..

Can't believe you got it for that price .
Looks in such good condition

My one that I'm converting is an auto too
I did wonder what the auto box would be able to take as no one to my knowledge has ever tried it with big power
I'm wondering if you fitted a big cooler for transmission fluid if it would last, may be more reliable than a manual

And I love the car too john, but guess I would say that seeing as I've got 2 of the boogers so slightly biased lol

Looks like I might have to try leaving the auto box in and see what happens. I know Bob's got a spare if I blow it up.. Wink

Good to see a few words in its favour.
Just heard it's due to arrive 1st August.. bounce015

FINALLY.. The boat came in a couple of days ago and I'm getting it home tomorrow.  thumbsup

Undecided about the box but as I'm unlikely to go over about 270bhp I might just leave the auto on it and see what happens. Question

Yeah will be interesting to see what power the auto box can take

Glad it's all arrived, yours will definitely be done before mine as it's still stuck on the lift, no time to do anything with it at the mo  Crying or Very sad

Yep, passed the MOT no problem.
All the paperwork is now with the DVLA so I'm hoping they'll stick to their "10 day" turn around and I can be on the road by 1st October.
Meeting on the 5th is OK for me but can't be sure which car I'll be in.
