Head seems abit tappy when warm

Does anyone else find this? I run my engine on millers nano drive oil 10w 50,
Never really noticed untill today went on a drive and just seemed tapper up top, oil Is getting to head etc all compression fine, may just be me haha

Yeah mine is a bit noisy and im running that oil. I think mine needs reshimming as I think its settled in since putting the new head on.
Also think the oils been thinned out a bit from where its running a bit rich top end.

I may stick some silkoline pro-s instead maybe? Bit annoying and maybe my head needs reshimming, who knows lol

I don't think its the oil, when did you start using this oil?

Well I've done probably 300 miles in it including one service in between

I change the oil every 5000miles or yearly. This is the first time ive used the stuff but I think its due a change so ordered some ready. Im gonna check my clearances at some point.

I change my oil every 1000 miles I thinks it's a bit excessive but u use my car daily and only ever use Fuchs racing oil 10/50.
My head seemed very noisy and had it shimmed it seems ok now!

Sounds like valve clearances Glenn. We can have a look on fri. I always used the silcolene pro s 10/50 without a problem.

When I heard it at rr day she was a bit tippy but not enough to warrant doing them I think
