my handbrake light has started to stay on even when the handbrake is off, anyone know if this is a sensor or something and where can i source the problem?

it could be a dodgy connection in the switch at the base of the hb lever
try taking it off and cleaning / checking the contacts

have you checked your level of brake fluid? if there's non to nothing in the same light comes on!
