Not a happy chappy today Sad

Took my wheels to get the rubber put on, first place tried but couldn't fit the tyres because the wheels have to be upside down to fit them. And they had lost the clamps.

Get to second place and the first tyre they fit has a fucking hole in the side wall :-( scrap!
I go home and pick another tyre up I had spare and the wall is a different size :-(

So now I have 4 wheels and only 3 tyres :-( gonna search ebay for another yoko.

iv had to cut a windscreen out before and it was a nightmare i just used a cheese wire thing.

but a bonded windscreen can crack so easily when your doing it, and they usually do it when there about 2 cm of sealant left to cut through lol

yeah we had a guy who wanted a screen and was gonna pay us £80 for it, had 2 shells with screens in...decided to use .6mm mig wire with me on inside and lee on the outer sawing it back and forth, got to the last corner and the fucker broke......how annoying so i kicked the shit out the shell threw a hammer in a tantrum and that bounced off the car hit and smashed the screen in the other shell next to it lol.

never ever again will i attempt to do one of those again, if people want them then they can try take them out themselves.

fair play to you stu your a better man than me lol

Fast Eddy

I was lucky then. I have a customer who used to be a car window fitter. She, yes she, took the nearly new screen out of my grey shell in about 20mins with no damage!

Little update.

After getting pissed off with my mates rebuild its now complete. Just fluids to put in it.

I was going to sell mine but I've decided to keep it, just looking at it brings a smile to my face lol

It won't be on the road anytime soon tho!
Cash flow is dry! Sad

I'm going on holiday monday , so hopefully the break away from everyday shit will revive me Laughing

It looks like I have to drop my gearbox back out as I have a leak Sad When I removed the casing to check the gearing etc I forgot that I hadn't resealed it Sad bummer!

So I have another big job to add to my small list of things to do.

List is as follows.

Swap engine mounts.
Take gearbox out.
Fit rear brakes.
Swap exhaust.
Paint wings and bumper.
Swap suspension.
Fit plastic inner arches.

Then its wash and polish and vallet the interior Smile

Its been one thing after another this last few weeks mate, then I get a msg off my mom saying the doctor has requested some scans for my Dad as he thinks the cancer has come back Sad just what I needed to hear after being on a downer for the last few weeks!

I'm gonna get wasted every day while on holiday! Park the car up and crack open a bottle of vodka and a bottle of coke Smile
