1972+ skyline gtr

i just love these cars ive seen a few of them come through a jap auction but never seen any on the road or even any for sale in uk, anyone ever seen one in the flesh? they look badass think they also go for around 25k +

I've never seen one in the flesh but I agree they are seriously tasty  
I would love to own one but £25k+ is a little steep for me lol

yeah me too lol, i just love the muscle sorta look to them, i see a few every month on an auction site so im wondering where they go once imported

Both look bad ass, the second gen has more of an american muscle car look. I personally prefer the 1st gen

yeah the first gen i think look the best, 2nd has even more of a muscle car look

According to wikkipedia only 197 second gen gtrs were made

first are beautiful...but it's similar as a 505 Peugeot!!!  

Lol it is like Peugeot sucked all the style out of the design   

 

My dad had a peugeot 505 at his garrage when I was younger.
We called it our smashing car because it was ready to go to the scrap yard so we used to drive it round the back and smash it into things, was great fun

Ive only ever seen one in the flesh and that was going down the m20 on a trailor very nice indeed i had to look twice what the feck it was ....

be interesting to see what engine conversions can be done on them, gtr engined, they must be pretty light aswell

they are nice but Nissan definitely copied the mustang look with the pair of them.
the first being the mustang which was also available as a convertible and the second was so blatantly copied from the fastback version

The early jap cars had a habit of copying European and American styles.
The Toyota 2000GT looks a lot like an e-type jag
