Just bought another gtir after 10 years

Just wanted to say a quick hello , i have just bought myself a white gtir after 10 years. My first was a black on which feels a long time ago , since selling that ive owned 5 evos as i reaLly needed 4 doors since ive got 4 daughters , but i always promised myself id have myself a white one one day so the kids get moved around in a zafira gsi and the gtir is now my new toy.

lol take the piss guys i m alot slimmer , redline mag thought it was funny to stick his photo in on one of my feature cars too .

haha its running a phase2 calibra turbo engine in 2wd with a few goodies

I thought it looked like a 20 let how do you find traction i know the lets are a heavy lump so its gotta help abit .

I like the Astra barry, very nice colour too.......now at a guess if you have had a few cars do you shift them on you car lot in the eastend?.....just joshing

Traction there is none , I'm using the torque steer shafts from a mk3 astra gsi but it still spins in every gear in the dry and pulls you about. good power to weight though . best to get some movement before flooring it and once she is rolling it goes very well. even in the 30 year old girl she feels tight ,the shell has had a lot of strengthening and seam welding to cope with it too.

Could go stand alone ecu on the Astra, syvecs has switchable traction and torque control.....

yeh got alot id still like to do , I'm in the middle of fitting the mk3 astra gsi dash , much nicer than the sagging mk1 one, I am planning TO fitting a full mk3 gsi loom when it warms up that way all the mfd , warning lights and diagnostics will work to as well as fitting abs

My brother had a b reg astra gte, not sure if it was a mk1 or 2? That had a 1.8 16v and shifted fairly well. As said look lovely in red

Is that the digi dash or was that in the mark 2 gte i cant remember i had a nova gsi with the digi dash in .

they cam in mk2 s mate but alot of mk1 astra and nova ended up with them in , an easy fit

It was a very long time ago when i was youngish think i remeber having to change the speedo sensor to get it all working as it still had the cable type in it ...bought the nova well cheap back then do miss it abit great little car to throw about
