I’ve got an engine in I’m building for someone

Not much info, looks like forged pistons from acl, which I’ve heard are made by mahle

Any ways I’ve tried to find specs of the ring gaps, but Internet is not my best friend. I know what stock are, just can’t find info on mahle. 0.4 and 0.7 I have sitting rings on block,

Ductile, Grey Iron & Steel = 0.013 inch

INTERMEDIATE COMPRESSION RING

that's for 86mm piston (3.38inch) moderate performance

That's what I've found for Mahle

I've built few engines wits cp wosnier and je pistons and usually go for 0.5mm top 0.6mm mid
Bigger gap won't hurt it

Cheers for that, seems ok then, can tell by looking at block that these pistons do a fair bit of piston slap, I prefer cp’s myself can’t go wrong with them
