Img Hosting Sites

After peoples views on whats the best site to upload photos to now?  I used to use Photobucket, but its utter garbage advert central.

Most sites seem to limit to 5mb img size, but as most phone cameras exceed this seems pointless using them without having to go through photoshop etc to reduce file size, tried the following up to now:

Lensdump - 5mb limit
Photobucket - crap
imgur - phone app crap imo
dropbox - 3.2gb linit unless pay for more
servimg - no link on page to create an account
postimage - no app for iOS but can upload on mobile site so created a bookmark on screen.

Think Postimage will be my tool of choice now, see how it goes tbh

Out of interest, all my threads I’ve started on here and other forums with photos using photobucket, will they not show up anymore?

Www.Photobucket.com/p500 basically want $400 a year to show them proper gutted

they can be viewed in compatible browsers and operating systems using plugins for the browser that fools Photobucket into loading the image .
Thread below has links and info, I tested it and use it with portable chrome browser on my notebooks and on firefox on android .

Wonder if all hosting sites will go down this route eventually?

Might look at editing my restoration thread and move it all to postimage, may take a while!

Yeh safest option is renting your own domain which pretty cheap these days .

Browser add works well, took me awhile to get it working though. Shame there isn’t a solution for iPhone

Really annoying as ive used photobucket for years, noticed on the migwelding forum I use that some pics loaded and others didnt. grrrr. Will check that link out too
