How do I clean my umbrella ?

Whilst at the car show today I showed a few people my umbrella .

So its not been out for about 7 years and it has quite a few stains .

What's the best way to clean it without damaging it ?

Bath tub with like warm water and washing detergent let it soak for a few minutes then partially open it and use a sponge to clean it then rinse it thoroughly with water take it outside open it fully and level to dry .....

If it's good enough for your clothes shouldn't be to harmful to the umbrella .. but do it at your own risk
