Performance car ownership is pretty cack in the winter, use it for ten minutes, spend the rest of the day cleaning it, flat battery cos you're not using it enough, brakes seizing and if anything can go wrong it will go wrong in the winter. Inevitably you start thinking, why do I bother ?
Then you have a week like I've had.....
Saturday, weather sh*te, new ariel to fit, bit of a pain, mirror off, sunvisors off, roof panel off but job done eventually - radio 2, success ! Next job, how do I wire the fog lamp into the Sunny headlight I bought ? bit of trial and error and bingo, sorted. Next job, top of rear seats faded, bought some Dylon, used a sponge, now good as new. Finally, EFDC for my TEINS is giving me an error reading, bit of research on the web, turns out it's just the wiring on the rigjht hand side that's come out. Summary, 4 jobs done, £20 spent, result !!!
Sunday, weather sh*te, too much crap (spare parts) in the garage, ebay time, few photos, few adverts and 4 days later, £200 banked.
Monday - Thursday, take the Sunny into work every day, traffic is light so I can have a real blast !! worked long days so mine is the only car in the car park when I get out, looks mint as I walk up to it from a distance.
Thursday, Bob's got some wheels I want - champion !
Friday, new brakes fitted on the Pulsar, others destined for ebay. Can now get some smaller wheels on the car - 17s and TEINS dont work !
Saturday - Johnny GTIR & Dave coming over to fit some new sensors to the Pulsar.
What a great week, bought some sh*t, sold some sh*t, did some jobs, spent nowt overall, had a good blast everyday - magic !!!!!!
