Trickle charge vs jump pack

I am getting tired of going to drive the R after a few weeks (don't get to drive it very often) and the battery is dead. Have to jump it one of my other cars every time.
The way I see it, I have several options;
1) disconnect battery after every drive (not preferred due to alarm etc)
2) buy a jump pack so I can just jump it every time I go to take it out.
3) put a trickle charge unit on the battery when I put it away after each drive.

Just wondered what everyone else does with theirs and if they use a trickle charger (which is what I would like to do) what one shall I get!? there appears to be many on the market!

Trickle charger / battery condiontioner is better as keep the battery topped up and keep jumping it will chuff it eventually being run down ...

Sounds like a trickle charger would be a good option for you.

Do you know if I need a particular type? not sure if there are different levels of power / amp?

This or trickle charge.

Trickle charger worked well for me. Just put the trickle charger on 24 hours before you want to drive it.

Another option to save running an extension lead etc is to get a solar battery maintainer. I've just bought one of these to keep my battery topped up on my van.

Can these be plugged into the cigarette lighter socket on pulsars or do you have to run a wire to the battery?

Can go direct to battery from what the instructions say ...

You need to check if the lighter socket is 'live' when the ignition is off. If it stays live then you can plug in to the lighter socket and don't have to open the bonnet.

It's not live, at least mine isn't.

Most wont be if its cat 1 alarm and immibiliser as it cuts all aux ...

Yeah I've connected mind straight onto the battery with the crocodile clips supplied
