newest gtir plate

ive had a car in for a while now with a gtr private plate which ive now sold (the plate that is)
anyway sent off the registration details etc for the plate changeover and got the new reg back this weekend and guess what!

they have registered the car on a W plate (thats a 2000 w btw)
got to be the newest gtir in existance, the latest reg one ive ever seen i think was on an R plate

whats the newest plate anyones seen on one of these cars?

Think I've only ever seen an R-reg aswell
And a G-reg at the other end of the scale lol

yeah we bought the r reg one stu and i think i sold it on at some stage.

i reckon the w plate one ive now quired has got to be the newest registered car in uk, not that it means jack shite lol
