Went to the local tyre place on Friday to get my new tyres put on. After a while I was called round the back to have a look at something; never a good sign! One rim was on the tyre removal machine with no rubber on it and I was shown a crack on the outside rim, about 15mm long. Just as the fitter had convinced me to get the car booked in again this week to get it welded up, the other fitter called me over to look at the other front wheel on the balancer to see how big a wobble it had...feck, new wheels required!
So I went and bought these on Saturday to replace my buckled cracked pieces of $hit. What you guys think?

not seen that style on an R before - certainly different !
i think they look okay - if the car was lowered a tad they would defo look better
(ive always favoured that look personally - filling the arches out with bigger wheels and a small drop)

The first set was team dynamics so not particularly expensive. Round about where I bought the car from was heaps of those horrible little square sleeping policemen things so wouldn't be surprised if they were the cause.
I was fully intending on lowering the car but I have to admit, the novelty of being able to drive straight onto my ramps without any packing hasn't worn off yet. That and the fact the roads up here are crap and frequently full of water makes me think I might leave it rally style indefinitely...but who knows Smile

Depends on what you lower it with most spring combos or just springs dont lower it by heaps 15mm 30mm not unless you go for the spax wich are really low ...or coilovers are not too bad you dont have to screw them to the floor so to speak ....
