Not sure if this will interest anyone but started a new job recently. Didnt put two and two together with last name for a while but im working with Richie Woodhalls son!which I thought was quite cool! He will soon be off to do coverage of the olympics. Beats talking about the weather at work anyway lol

His dad. God rest his soul. Used to train my brother. My brother and Richie are good friends. Used to knock about together in school.
I used to go to training with them when I was a kid and my mom and dad were chairmen of the boxing club.
Richie is down to earth and stays close to his roots.

Ive never heard of him is he really famous boxer then ?

Richie was same weight as joe calzaki not sure how you spell his name lol
He actually fought him and it was his last fight I think.
Richie held the wbo belt I think.
He now comentates on all the boxing for it and channel 5 I think.

Thats cool Stu small world!

He is famous within boxing really. Won bronze in the olympics and won the commonwealth games and held the WBC super middleweight belt. As Stu says he does all the UK pundit for boxing especially the olympics etc.
