How many of you guys actually use your pulsar as a daily driver?

Im due to be picking mine up soon and am thinking...is it too old to be a daily... is it going to keep going worng.. Or flip side does it need to be run everyday to keep it alive

whats your thoughts

Mine is a daily driver. School runs the lot.
Over the last few months ive had issues with coolant hoses and my radiator. But other than that and the odd iddle issue its been fine.
Keep on top of maintenance and its just fine in my opinion.

I'm going to give mine a stint as a daily driver once it's back on the road in the next couple of weeks. This will likely only last a few months until it heats up over here. No aircon, sound deadening, rear interior will get old pretty quick in Qld heat.

I would never use mine as a daily driver. I get my dad to drive it to meets as its got a very stiff paddle clutch which does my back in! My fault for fitting it and tbh if it didnt have that it would be fine to use! With a scoprion exhaust or quite one they are great. Mongoose no...

I use mine as a daily driver and its fine,
Motorway journeys longer then 30mins can be tiring due to the exhaust noise but besides that not had a problem

Used mine for years as daily driver and fun way go to and from work etc.
Reliability can be very very good, most issues are bad work, poor servicing or just what you expect from 25yr old car .
Quickest way to kill a car is leave it standing in unsuitable conditions .

Mines a daily and apart from me fiddling it's always been reliable but alot has to do with choice of suspension and clutch to whether you love or hate your daily.

Edit: one thing thats cropped up, leaking sunroof has reared it's ugly head.

I use mine as a daily for last 10 years as the matter of fact this is my firs car lol. +1 on what Mr B said if you don't know what you're doing/messing with work etc it'll run like shit but if you do it properly it'll never fail you I've done around 80k miles in mine and biggest issue was head gasket caused by coolant hoses on the back the block blowing up

I've used mine for over 10 years as daily drivers, always had other cars to use at same time. I've never really had that feeling in the pulsars that's it's going to breakdown or not start.

well my works about 1 mile away from my house. I always warm up I the morning however with short trips can the oil not being up to temp cause issues with the engine

It will do that in pretty much any car over time tbh. Just take a massive detour to work and home haha or if it's only a mile away then get a pushbike lol
