Anyone on here ever removed the rear window from the boot lid? If so how easy/hard is it? I've got a carbon fibre boot lid and want to swap everything over but I'm a little unsure of having a go on my own lol. If there's anyone in the Midlands that wouldn't mind giving me a hand with it, it would be really appreciated. Would need a bit of notice so I can get over to the car with the new boot lid.

Its bonded in, If original tail lid is A1 order I would get a shaggy tail lid to cut the glass from as average carbon fiber panels can be wank long term so don't trash A1 original, ideally want new molding too if fussy on final finish . could do it yourself or get a quote on work from glass fitters as they less likely bust the glass :-D

The deal is over £100 I got one last year, also got a pro to cut it out as can't get new now so didn't want it breaking.

When I had my car painted I paid £30 and had a bloke remove it then £30 to refit, however he didn't want to do the front for fear of breaking it
