If you had the chance what would you have in what grades and welded to what.

Currently have a Cusco 6 point with extra rear cross bar and diagnol across roof.

Wide car has safty 21 with door bars

It's for the wide arch car so I don't feel I am ruining a standard car etc.

Is there any competition regs. I was thinking a mix between comp and just looks n functional.

Weight is a issue don't want to add loads in the wrong areas
Thoughts please

the one in my car is very strong but to be honest a pain in the arse to use.if i was young and fit it might be different
mines a safety devices(but you know that anyway)but mine has extra added parts to make it meet msa regulations door bars arent really needed or the extra roof bars the harness bars though are worth it

mine is a custom cage http://www.customcages.co.uk/Rollcage/LoadRollCage.castle?manufacturer=Nissan&model=Sunny&type=Multipoint
mine is the t45 with added bars it was over £1500
http://www.safetydevices.com/motorsport/products/roll-cage/Nissan+Sunny+N14-1990-1994-3-door-GTI-R/91/952/
the safety devices used to be cheaper not sure now though
omp will still do a cage but is special order only

I really like the safety devices cage in the second link. Id love to run something like that, although road rules in aus are it must be bolt in and now only allowed a cage rear of the front seats Sad

Yeah Tom. Bob had it off me.
It wasnt the easiest car to get in and out of lol
Thanks for the rep point woody Smile
The cage was welded to the strut towers front and back.
It was also welded to the centre of the car and middle of the floor.
Also welded across the front of the cockpit as it went across under the dash. Oh and welded across the top of the front windscreen.
