Hi Cosmic, have a look at this.

Easy repair - with a bit of soldering - and you could probably do it without taking the sensor out of the hub. The wire always breaks in the same place, but it's inside the cable so you can't see it...
I've been driving on repaired ones for 2 or 3 years now.

Hey John, i think i read this post a while back but didnt put two and two together,
Both My sensors have sheared at the same place, been repaired with leccy tape but sheared again.
Thanks for reminding me of this post, ill give this more robust repair a try this weekend.
