Club Calendar vote

Paul is happy to let us use any of his pictures from the 25th meet. So that's all good.

I see what you mean about it doesn't have to be of cars from meets this year rob as it's not including everyone, sorry if it came across disrespectful to other members. I just thought it would be nice to make it a 25th themed thing.

Don't be sorry Si we want people to make the effort to attend shows. So your really saying skip work for a weekend get your geordie arse down to a show next show season and we will then feature your car on the promise you attend. 

Joking aside its cars like rob's that I and many others would love to see at shows it oppersit end of the scale shows  the true rally side of our cars and its a beauty great to see standard cars to modded cars and rally prep cars all in the line up. Robs car I could spend hours looking at stuff on it It's not everyday you  see another R with the suspension set up for one example. I know I speak for others I seen it but a lot of R owners would really app it at a show. Specially with new wheel and spacer set up ready for next season mate

just a thought guys (if you disagree then say so)
but seeing as the forum now has a fair few members with other motorsport orientated cars ''many of who previously owned gtir's''
Would it not be an idea to open up the calendar to any interesting cars  (pics) that members own?

Time to move forward a little I think as there simply are not enough gtirs left that have not been done to death with pics, mag features etc etc.

Maybe each calendar page could have 2 cars one being a gtir (as predominantly a gtir forum) and other being a car of interest as a fair few on here now own interesting cars and I for one love all cars & bikes, basically anything of interest with wheels and an engine fitted.
Just feel its a little unfair now to alienate members and to keep the forum growing and interesting to everyone this seems like a good compromise.

As said if you disagree then say so as its your forum afterall and will go with what the majority want

I would be happy to see different cars not just gtir's but i would like more of a gtir based calender i think that makes sense or was it just in me head

Cast my vote Gtir only is my opinion. Lots of interesting cars out there of different makes  so if the majority goes that way i will be looking for someone to do just a gtir one if someone has the time and contacts. I do love all vehicles,bikes  but pulsars only on my calendar

Think it has already been mentioned somewhere but alternative photos of specific areas of our cars incorperated would look cool in my opinion; engine bays, interiors etc...
