Fuel pipe bulging tool thing...

Evenin,

I asked the question the other week about how to create that bulge in the fuel lines to stop the rubber hose coming off.. The tool in question 'beading tool' doesnt go down to 8mm pipe, bugger! and the rolling tool is just too expensive to do 4 ends of 8mm. Sooooo I finished at 5 today and thought sod it how hard can it be? locked myself in the workshop, bit of hammering grinding and general bodging came up with this:



Ok I know its not pretty, but...





Kinda does the job:





DO you guys reckon this will be enough to do the job?  I cant get any more bead on it without compromising the tool, if I take any more material out it will probably snap!

Is sweet that mr burrows as those beading tools are expensive.
