Yesterday i fired the old girl up for the first time in at least 3 or 4 months - she started first turn and sounded sweet !

I've been balls deep in DIY projects around my house for nearly this whole year so took the decision to take the R off the road (for the first time in owning her) and rest her in the garage this year while i work on the house.

Just starting her up and tinkering put a big smile on my face and i cant wait to get back on the road next year.
I'll tinker and clean over the winter and then plan to MOT and TAX in the spring to have a good 6 months of summer motoring.
Simple things can make you happy.

Alan my man, good to hear you are still in love. You must have been reminiscing about the bluewater cruise years back on that lovely summers day.
cheers

I can relate to that Al. I recently moved mine from the garage where it's been stored for the last 2 years. which is probably only half a mile but just getting behind the wheel for those few feet is enough to keep me smiling.

There is just something special about these little cars that only once you've owned one becomes apparent.
