Looking on the powerflex website it says that the subframe bushes on the GTIR are also the same as the S13, S14, S15, R32, R33, R34

So my question has anyone tried fitting solid bushes

Depends what the car is being used for, but it more road than track I wouldn't personally go for solid bushes, poly ones stiffen the ride up enough and you feel every bump think these would be ridiculous

Get standard bushes, tried poly. Came off after one test drive (pita dropping that sub twice!).
As above, I imagine if it was a track car where you don't care about harshness then go for it.

Standard bushes work fine for me, couple of poly in the more needed places to stiffen up is perfect.

what brand poly subframe bushes you try ?
I've use superpro subframe ones & worked fine.
when i tried sourcing subframe bushes nissan ones where no longer available ...
certainly wouldn't use solid mounts unless a very specific track built car.

Powerflex.
As the rest of my car is polybushed and running on 18s it was too much.
I got stocks from local motorfactors, felt loads better.

I was going to get the superpro ones, heard they had a little more squish in them but I'm ok with what I got now.
