rub strips and tops of bumpers

When I have my car painted. Should I keep the rub strips and tops of bumpers left colour coded or return them back to black?

I think it looks smart as is stu .... strange i was debating the same thing the other day and think if anything i would colour code the door strips and leave the arch trims and bumper tops black .... but i really like the whole colour coded look with certain colours ....

I like it coded too. But was thinking maybe the standard look might be better these days lol
When saddler had his white car done. He had all the rub strips and tops of bumpers painted black and they looked sweet. Nice and easy to wash and polish up too.

Yeah i think it depends what colour it is i think .... reds suit black strips .. white the same ... black either way grey either way just my opinion ...

yeah it definitely depends on the colour, I like it as it is but I would put the trims back to black for sure

Yeh I'm black strip man normally but agree with nomads view on colours & strips.
On grey it looks good either way, on white & red it deffo best left black. Works with white wheels too which I would of never of thought :-)

What about number plate so round? That's black. Think the tailgate must've been swapped at some stage. As it's the only thing that hasn't been colour coded.
Shall I paint that aswell to keep it all tied in?

can look a bit plain all in one colour but that normally white & red cars and debadged too :-/
much prefer the jdm surround over eu & much prefer some oem badges remaining on its butt too :-)

I painted my pulsar and gtir badges black many years ago.

Normally I would say black on both but your car suits colour coded strips but deffo keep numberplate surrond black mate

I have said it before and I will say it time and time again wheels can transform a car but these are the best transfer I have seen on a R 110% best thing you did what a difference for the better

Colour coded all the way mate it depends on the car, but I really like colour coding, some cars don't suit it though.

I do love the look of the sr with the white wheels on it Johnny. I will get them a refurb at some point. But for now I want standard wheels

Keep it colour coded Stu it looks great. I have just put a colour coded front bumper on mine and with the carbon bonnet it looks awsome. Just mid way through doing the rear bumper the same but going to leave the side strips and arch trims as they are

Black mate... I had mine done in a factory finish effect when I had the car painted... It was in a can but I forget what it was called now

I phoned Bob and he said he is keeping all the standard sets
