Been working on my bosses h1 for a couple of days sorting out electrics as water had got in the cab and fooked it all .... then onto siezed brakes yesterday ... worst was the rear calipers as they are handbrake/brake combo had to take it off and strip it as it was siezed solid .... anyway its already for another mot ... so up yours shitty american poo

Good the big heavy lump is back up and running. I can imagine these would be a pain in the arse to work on.

They are well made in a way of 4ton and everything is big and bulky and nothings easy to get too like all the brake lines right down to the caliper is copper no flexi's and the discs are bolted to the driveshaft as it goes into diffs wich are also back and front the 4wd system is just wierd lol ...

I thought they were supposed to be indestructable, how they survived the deserts of the middle east is a mystery, oh I suppose it dosent rain out there! or maybe painting them brown with a stars and stripes flag makes a difference.

This one was shipped from the middle east over to the uk .... it wieghed over 5 ton with all the bomb proof plating underneath ... wich got unbolted and left at the docks as it was to heavy ... they were built by general motors well a division of them atleast .... it is well built to be fair but its all just an ass to get to anything ...

That's crazy heavy, it's cool it used to be the full kitted out version with all the bombing proofing stuff though.

To be honest I would like to take one for a drive, see if you can squeeze one into a supermarket car park space!

It is 7ft .1 wide .... but you can just ram cars out the way lol ...all be it a trip to the shops better be close as it does like 8 to the gallon lol ...

Its not my cup of tea all the american stuff my boss also has a 1964 ford f250 ... with nitrous lol ...

They are crap worked with them when I was in the forces get stuck every where and to big for there own good we was laughing at them in our Land Rovers

Isnt the h3 land rover based scotty ...

Not sure on the h3 I just know the h1 are awful
