A lot of race bikes seem to use a power bomb on the exhaust system and are seeing up to 10% increase in flow through the systems...I sort of understand the science behind it.
Would a similar system if setup correct have the same advantages on a GTI-R? or any car for that fact...
A friend of mine is something to do with a bike racing team and he suggested as a throw away comment that something like that might work on a car - or indeed been tried before.
It would act as a muffler if you don't have a silencer or cat (similar to my system) and could see some power gains/less lag?
I guess I'm asking is there really anything in this or is it just speculation?
