so i noticed after i fixed a few problems with my car my avcr is not really hitting my 1 bar of boost on my previous duty setting (57%)- it peaks at 0.8bar at 57%, now im trying to get to 1 bar and the duty is now set to 61% but still only peaks at 0.91 bar of boost. Is it safe to keep increasing duty as im kinda worried with the big jump in duty its already made.

the problem which i think i amended was the size of t-piece which was placed inline of the boost hose going to the dumpvalve and tee'd off to the ebc map sensor, it was very small so i increased the piece to the size of the actual hose. not sure if its connected with this issue at all but its all i can think that may cause this issue

whats everyone elses avcr duty settings?

Thanks

So you dont think it works like a restrictor like the inline green band one on the boost pipe now your t piece is larger ????

well i would have thought the small t-piece would have required more duty than the larger one because the size of the hole if you know what i mean, or maybe less duty because alot more pressure compared to large t-piece. so yes the small one is acting as a restrictor but not restricting in a sense, however i never had any issues with running the small t-piece in regards to boost

its the only thing i can think that may cause the increase in duty required to reach peak boost.

but really im just trying to work out if adding more duty is a potential danger to the car. in a sense the ver small tpiece i feel was too small and the one which is matched to the pipe size is correct
