Are you going to be changing it yourself?

For that power think a Helix organic would be recommended, its what i'll probably get to replace mine. Not sure on price, have a search around Wink

+1 on > Helix organic HD.
Clutch kit is probably around £450
then garage fee if you not a spanner man
CC (Competion Clutch) do some good clutches which maybe little cheaper
Don't cut corners as you don't want do it twice or have a awful to use clutch.
If you don't have a reinforced clutch release arm you would be super wise to reinforce yours with welded plate or buy one already done.
If the ball pivot worn flat on edge replace it too, driftworks do these in stronger steel for around £25 !

Also replace the rear main seal while the clutch is out. Better to do it now so you know it's fresh and won't have problems in the future.

Try Mardi Gras motorsport in Silverstone for the Helix as they are authorised dealers of them, I got mine from there a few years back now, good guys to deal with also.

No worries fella, if you decide to go for an Exedy clutch do not buy from Ebay as Exedy do not sell through Ebay, only authorised dealers which is why the fakes are half the price of the genuine items, just a little heads up as you don't want to wasting your hard earned and doing the job twice mate, as Mr B said fit a new pivot ball and reinforce the release fork at the same time.

GTIR James

Cheers nomad. Pulsar23 if you down at bobs next weekend I can bring it down & you & Bob can check it out.
Failing that ask Bob why I have this clutch.........
(I had a gearbox built by someone on the other site, no names mentioned put the gearbox in & couldn't get any gears. Took the gearbox down to him & he said it was the clutch.
I fitted a brand new helix & still couldn't get any gears, twat.
I took the gearbox out & found it had been assembled using thick axle grease so the syncros weren't sliding correctly & the shimming was to tight. That's the reason for me having 2 helix clutches. One that's in my car & this one.

Yeh it not something a lot of us would want contemplate but the Helix is a good bit of kit & sensible saving to be made on the parts.
I would prefer buy a decent used Helix than cheap out on other clutch options.

No idea if GTIR James a good guy but seen nothing dodgy about him, pretty easy see how clutch been used by looking at it so could be good option if going to the RR day.

To be fair the Helix clutch that James is selling looks pretty much perfect, at that price I would have it if I needed one thumbsup
