Nismo clutch

I replaced my clutch a few months ago with an exedy stage 1 but the one i removed was a nismo copper mix clutch kit, RS420, RS650 and nismo flywheel.It was still in good condition but the reason i dident put it back was the fact that the pressure plate was way too heavy and im sure the reason that the release bearing had been destroyed.I just wanted to know if anyone else had found the same issue with mega heavy pressure plates?.
