Hi,

Lately I managed to find some time to start on finishing my car.

This is what I've done........

Looking good mate, how long did it take to fabricate the manifold to this point?

That looks amazing Bogdan !!! Glad to see you're back doing pulsar stuff again Smile

@woody....approx 1 week
@petelesta thanks a lot for the appreciation!

That's a nice looking manifold, your works always looked good

Thanks.....will keep everyone posted as I go!

Very nice bogdan. Did you ever do a run of standard mount manifolds?

I have done only one with equal length.
But.....if someone needs one I can do it without any issues!

Given how popular your elbows were, (are you still making them?) I'm surprised you haven't had more interest.

One which moves the turbo out a little so that the compressor housing on a 3071 could be rotated 180egrees without having to shave a bit of the turbo would be an idea. Laughing

I'm looking for a new manifold for my track car.

That's sidewinder one might do the job

Do you know what sort of gain you get from one of these?
And nice work thumbsup

So what gains do you get with one over the original cast one?

Im no expert so from what i understand is it it equalizes exhaust gas pressure on the cylinders so helps lower cylinder temps to a degree ......and then it gets really technical if you go into the pulse produced by the cylinder its called the Bernoulli principle or something like that .....

I don't think it makes much of a difference until bigger power 400bhp+ maybe, but it looks damn good. Cool

At some point I'm going to take a full system off your hands Bogdan !!! And that includes a sidewinder manifold but in the near future I'll just have to stick to an elbow because funds are tight at the minute

@ pulsarmoley
I will make a dyno run after finishing the manifold and let everyone know the gains.
@ Nomad
If the pulse will meet before the turbo that it's bad...because it will have interference with the pulse from another cylinder. So.....the gasses from one cylinder will not be exhausted in time....therefore it will meet the gasses from another cylinder.
From my calculations the gasses will meet after the turbo, which is good....but will see when we will map the car!
@ petelesta
The elbows are also in the production stage!

The pulses shouldnt meet on a equal length as all cylinders dont fire at the same time but if done right one pulse should almost pull another ... from my understanding ...

That's my understanding as well leighton like you say they almost help each other through but don't collide ! An unequal length will make more low down power and give it a distinctive rumble but the mid-high range is affected quite dramatically depends what you want really but does anyone really wanna sound like a Subaru ? My guess is no haha !!!!
