Just a bit of advice needed, nothing too stretching :-)
I've got the Wilwood Midilite caliper on the 280mm set up.
I'm wondering what pad choices are known to work well.
The car will be 300bhp for now, intended for "spirited"weekend driving and a few trackdays.
Discs need to be replaced, hoping to get the 310 bell and rotor, but if not I'll source the Clio172 discs as a replacement :-D

I've seen that the Mintex 1144,1155's and ferodo ds2500's are available.
I was running the poly q's which I thought were ok,nothing special.
Any other brands considered and where to source cheapest if course would be helpful :-)

without a doubt the best pad's on the market at the moment are the carbotech
supreme stopping power over any other pad ive tried so good for fast road and track alike (im running them on my gtr)
they are expensive to buy initially but they last over twice the length of other pads with hard use so are cost affective in the long run
downside is they are noisy and a bit dusty too

others ive not yet tried are the ebc blue series so don't overlook those if your wanting something a little cheaper

I run hispec 4 pots up front & larger discs at the rear using carbotech xp8s all round. Brakes feel good even braking down from silly speeds.
Much better than the mintex m1144 I did have.
They will make a pad for any car & if they don't have them send them your old pads & they will make them

So if I'm feeling minted carbotech xp8 are the way to go if I cut back a bit then EBC blue??
What larger discs are you running on the rears?? Are they smart car 280 x 6? I'm looking at this and making a caliper spacer bracket.

Xp8s are more road freindly apparently. Still squeal a bit from cold tho.
I think my rear discs are from a clio sport & have been redrilled

Yeah I'm not really interested in a squally type of pad if I'm honest so maybe I'll try out the 1144's and see how I go.
I heard the Clio sport front discs work I didn't know the rears fitted aswell?? More info please?? :-D

1144 is not bad for the prices they can be found at.
Had a set on my evo5 & was happy with them for the price.
1144 can squeal a bit though pending on calipers & discs of application to some extent.
