gtir tow bar

has anyone on here had a towbar fitted to their car, or know of anyone that has?

I want to get one fitted to one of the rashiteens which is exactly the same as a pulsar so was going to make up something fitted to the rear subframe but if anyones had it done could you pass on a few pics to myself please which will help me design something strong enough and suitable for the job in hand

I guess a regular sunny towbar wont work will it?

A friend of mine I'm sure said some special wood will do the job

yes ive heard similar somewhere indy
think its Malaysian ardbark with special shatterproof ronseal coating that's needed if your pulling in excess of 2 ton

Can you see holes in chassis rails like the the n14 4door for towbar mounts ?
Perhaps the n14 saloon bar would be good starting point with minimal modding required.
Some towbar kits for the sunnys list as 1.6 4wd & some exclude 4wd models completely :-/
Oz & NZ boys maybe helpful on this. being a SUV it must of had a towbar available somewhere in the world !

In New Zealand everything has a tow bar even a granny scooter would.
