Hi guys,
I'm new here, so I just wanted to introduce myselfe here Smile My name is Manuel Gebert and I live nearby Cologne, Germany. (around 100km distance to the Nürburgring Very Happy ) I work as a mechanic (learned car-mechanic, now work as a forklift one) and I own my pulsar for around 4-5 years now. It wasn't on the road till I get it, but I will solve this problem hopefully this year.
Well... I guess there's nothing more that's interesting about me Very Happy
Cheers

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
Good to hear that another pulsar is being saved.
Have you got some pictures, and tell us what's wrong with it?

Thanks guys for that warm welcome! Well, to be honest I'dont have many pictures of my R, cause since I bought it, it just stands around, disassembled, because of an engine failure. The exhaust valve on third cylindes has gone and the head was damaged. I've bought a new engine, the transmission has got a rebuilt and now I'm waiting for a few parts from Japan and a Forge wastegate actuator. Then I will start do reassembling the whole thing.

When it's back running, then it woud have the followings specs at first:

Nissan Pulsar Gti-R jspec '1991
Colour: Black KH3

Engine:
ARC top mounted intercooler
standard gtir turbo with Forge wastegate actuator (spring for stock boost at first, maybe I will change to S14 comp. housing)
Walbro 255l/h fuel pump
Apexi Power FC Pro with commander and special map for the RNN14 by Apex Engineering (including boost controller set and Datalogit)
Changed all gaskets and waterlines/hoses
All screws of the engine have been galvanized
2,5" downpipe and custom cat back exhaust system
Cusco strut braces front & rear
HKS air filter insert
Nismo low temp thermostat

Transmission:
Full rebuilt, changed all bearings and gaskets, synchros were left, because good condition

The rest of the car is stock, but shell is in very good condition (but needs to be prepared against corrosion)
Got a Mine's 280kp/h gauge
Red center gtir steering wheel in excellent condition, almost everything on body is stock, as P badge grill, uncutted front bumper and stock floor mats etc.
The suspension is stock, but due to the long stand time i will get a new stock one, then change to hotbits rsi.

I hope that you guys will do a trip someday, I guess mine should be ready till then and it would be great if we could meet up then Smile
