Looks like my life of pulsar ownership is short lived as stated in the description my bottom end bearing has spun so needs a rebuild. Something which I simply can't afford I got quoted £2000 to rebuild or £3000 to forge it I've sort of got the money in fact I have but I can't afford to chuck it into the car... Shame because I'd bought a load of bits for it was going to do it all properly and then this happens .... So looks like another one destined to be turned into bits! Thank you guys for all your help and I'm sorry another one is going to disappear off the road but it's taught me a very valuable expensive lesson. I got absolutely ripped off paid £4200 for it and had nothing but problems.... If anyone knows a cheaper solution I'm all ears but I can't see a way through it.

Sorry to hear of your probs pal, was always my biggest nightmare.

You could buy and fit good secondhand engine - see if Bob's got one, normally around c£800 quid?

Could you not consider rebuilding it your self? Not sure how mechanically minded you are but there are some very knowledgable and helpful people on here! And would save you a serious amount of money....

Yes looks very nice, would be a shame to break it, have a word with bob or look into doing it yourself, once it's done and working properly you wouldn't regret it I'm sure

Thats awesome news, it will be rewarding and you won't regret it if you get it back on the road Smile. Just make sure if you aren't sure about anything during the rebuild all you have to do is ask, so many people here will have all the knowledge you need. Just don't do what I did years ago and get your apparently "knowledge" mate to rebuild it and it blows up within 100kms Laughing
