Il spend fair money on the tools that can cause you problems such as cheap spanners / sockets ect but now when it comes to cross head and flat blade screwdrivers poundshop is the place to go, and thing is they are as good as any other screwdriver as one day your gonna use it as a chisel anyway lol

Hammers also, nylon hammers £1, club hammers £1, torches and all the other general disposable shite £1
Then there's their vast paint and sundries range too Very Happy
Gloss black aerosol which is a very close match to kh3 £1
Gloss white aerosol £1
Lacquer aerosol £1
Grey primer £1
Scrapers, knives, punches £1
Cleaning, polishing products £1
Carb cleaner, brake cleaner, wd40, White grease ect £1
Multipacks superglue ect £1
Tapes gaffa, foil, masking, electrical, Pte, wrapping all a fookin £1 lol

I always go for cheaper screwdrivers they do exactly the same job. There are a lot of tools like that where there is no need to spend big bucks for no massive advantage.

Yes I had some JCB branded screwdrivers from local Amarin shop which is a cheap tool & hardware chain. Assume they chinese & not related to JCB company in any way.
Proved good & between £1 & £1.80 they ideal for general use & abuse, good chunky grippy handle in jcb yellow with soft black grip inlay. Yellow qiute good as very visible round the workshop.
Do find slighty more expensive ones can have better bite in philips & pozi but it not always the case & if you hunt around and test some you can get very usable screwdrivers for pocket change.
Hammers indeed very much the same & some decent quality can be had again for small money.

I used to make my own flat head scredrivers when I was welding trailers Laughing

Small length of metal bar & 2 mins on a bench grinder... Then weld a handle on Wink
